İsmail Yazıcı

Biography

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at Bilkent University and a research assistant in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Ahi Evran University. I received an M.A. degree in Political Science from Bilkent University. I earned my B.A in Political Science and Public Administration from the Middle East Technical University. My research interests include intellectual history, Islamic political thought, and Turkish politics.

I see history as the labaratory of human experience where we explore the strangeness of the past. It is fascinating to reconstruct the diversity of past human experience.
