Cheyenne Warrior Buffalo Calf Road Woman (l. c. 1844-1879), credited with unhorsing Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. Also known as Brave Woman, she rescued her brother at the Battle of the Rosebud, giving the battle its Cheyenne name, "Battle Where the Girl Saved Her Brother" (or Fight Where the Girl Saved Her Brother).
