About the author
Mason Balouchian graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1980 as an Aerospace Engineer. He has spent most of his life as a tour guide, editor, and commercial writer. He is a member of Florida Writers Association, and works in Orlando as an editor and publishing consultant. He has written many short stories in the genre of fantasy, science fiction, and memoir collected in an anthology published as "The Astral Travelers" in paperback, hardcover, and digital form.
Working as a freelance tour guide during the 90s, he visited the tomb of Cyrus the Great on many occasions, and learned about this fascinating figure in detail. Later in 2011, he decided to write the story in a dramatic form because he thought that Cyrus, as the original architect of The Human Rights Charter, had not been given the attention he deserved. He wrote this book with three objectives in mind. To mold the scattered pieces of Cyrus’ life in a coherent story that projects the highlights of his accomplishments. To create an attractive right-to-the-point dramatic form that includes dialogues, narratives, and scenes in right proportion in order to entertain and avoid boredom. And finally, to present a story to all readers who wish to know about the true architect of the Human Rights and how he affected the lives of more than 40,000 Jewish slaves in Babylon and many other oppressed nations during the Persian historical period. He as also written a book named "The Intrigue" depicting the invasion and aftermath of Iran by Khomeini presently under review for publication.
